My step daughters friend just returned to Austrailia ( NSW,Ballina).could have sent a set with her and posted them from there.....My wife is a aussie shelia.....loving it.When I get over there,we will git it a shout.
Couple of years back, some @$$#0!*$ came into my yard, stole some exotic plants and poisoned one of my dogs. Within a week I had cameras mounted on the 4 corners of the house. At my wifes workplace we had cameras mounted and taped a scumbag tearing off the shed door and helping himself to $2000 worth of our power tools. We I.D.'d the ripoff man and had him busted and convicted with that camera footage. I would have liked to pummel the S.O.B. but the courts did O.K. with their form of justice. It's costing him monthly and he was forced to go to rehab. Man, Case........Your making me think back to all the times I've been ripped off. Too many times.......too many times.

Tommy i am very seriously thinking of going with cameras here too mate, and in this country, almost no one has that kind of thing on their home. I will be looking into buying a few cameras in the next couple days. (I have to get up in the roof some time next week to run some speaker cable and install a bracket for the new video projector, so ill fill the place with cameras while im at it. )
Try $50 AUD for those ones over here mate (they are not cheap and hard to get Corvette ones cause bugger all people have Corvettes in Australia).... I wish they did steal the wheels and tires, insurance pays for them and i have no excess to pay.
ouchy, ouch!!! that is awful. having had stuff stolen from in my car and on my car, I hate it, too. Sorry it had to happen to you man.
I had my CD player stolen out of my Buick one night, yep parked in my driveway. Looked like they just ripped it out of the dash. I filed a police report and never heard anything about it after that. The theives were so dumb that they didnt take anything else in the car like all the CD's, a cell phone, etc.
Had the valve caps stolen from the '93 & the wifes Stealth several times- And it was kids - The little future felons that hit us were busted by their mother- She got the truth out of them then drove them around to each of their "victims" (around 20 cars), return the caps, apologize in person & return with a hand-written admission of guilt & apology- Thats a mother who knows how to parent!

Keep the cameras up, when they get out, they get even.

Just my luck. Florida passed a law that says I can use deadly force if I feel my life is in danger. Seems like that would be threatening enough to me. Bang. Bang.......... Plop.
Yeah, definitely no good. But I'd take that over my latest story. Bout 3 weeks ago I went out to my car at 6:30am for a car show that I had prep'd all day the day before for. And all my stereo guts were hanging out of my door. $900.00 bucks worth of stereo stolen.
I'm not complaining, Insurance gave me plenty more than that.
SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME WHEN MY WIFE AND I WENT TO THE OREGON COAST FOR OUR ANNIVERSARY. SOME BOZZO STOLE MY CAPS AND I WAS ALSO ANGRY THE CHITS OF IT ALL WAS WHEN I WAS DRIVING BACK HOME I ENDED UP TOTALLING MY CAR. NOT A GREAT WAY TO END AN AWSOME WEEKEND. LUCKLY NO ONE WAS SERIOUSLY INJURED AND I HAVE SINCE BOUGHT A NEWER CORVETTE. 89 TO A 91
I GUESS THE END RESULT WAS TO PICK YOUR BATTLES ON WHAT TO GET ANGRY ABOUT..
.......no place is safe any more!....i had some decent caps on my 81 (before it was totaled) when i left for church services one sunday...when i got out, all 4 were gone!........hope they can use them in hell!
Not trying to jack ya but I got a little personal satisfaction from a trick I pulled on a bicycle thief. My wife and I HAD bicycles. One night hers was stolen from our house cut off our chain link fence. God I hate thieves. I started thinking how I could fix the bastards. Here is what I did I got a old extension cord and striped off about 3ft. of wire and taped to the under side of the handle bars. Then I leaned the bike against the wooden fence so it wouldn't ground out and then I plugged it in. It sat there for about a week when one night we were watching tv and I here screaming I didn't think about the bike I run out side and there is this black guy on the ground he jumps up and runs face first into the side of my house and almost falls over takes off running and screaming crazy sounds and hoots I almost pissed my pants laughing so hard. I wanted to keep the trap set for others but the wife was giving me to much ****. I sorta forgot about this story it happened a while back when we lived in a bad neighborhood. I just got another good laugh out of it typing it. Sorry about your valve caps.

......I just can't beleive that theres thieves down under, transplants from California?
Sorry I had to laugh at that one.. you do know what Aussies are sometimes called in the UK, right? Er something to do with our shared history..
In London you can get your sidew-window smashed in with a rock if you leave half a packet of ciggies on the dashboard. Most people leave their glovebox empty and open at night so thieves can see there's nothing worth stealing and won't bust your windows. I had a stereo and four freshly resored hubcaps nicked off my Beetle (the first night I put them on after restoring the chrome and hand-painting the logos!). In Liverpool I had 2 bikes stolen.. one gang of kids tried to get one I was actually riding at the time, and I mean 10 yr-olds.
I don't trust anyone any more, even my own neighbours, had so much stuff nicked. I never leave anything of value in the car. It's a sad world we're living in..but remember stuff can be replaced, life is priceless..

Convicts?? Id bet if they were still shipping convicts here for theft London's crime rate would be even more out of control

Its not about the valve caps, its the principle of the issue.
