Hey agent86 how are you going to install it since we have the din and a half stereos from factory? Are you going to use one of those adapters? If so could you tell me if they are good or not. And how is the picture quality from a side view?

Thanks and nice unit
I already have a an adapter on my existing head unit. Someone had a pic of their adapter with CORVETTE filling the blank space above. I may look into that one.
The side view won't be a factor in the vette, but from what iv'e read, the screen is top notch.
You gonna mount that in the bread box delete panel?
Cross it into a GPS and your datalogger.
Someday, I may buy the Kenwood plug and play GPS unit. I could run the laptop video output into it and turn it into a indash computer. Wireless keyboard and mouse and i'm all set.

Is that the same adapter that ecklers and mid america sell or did you build it yourself. Yours looks very nice and looks factory.
My problem is that some of the adapters look flimsy and could not take the weight if a heavy unit that is ny inly concern.

I got it at Best Buy, i believe it is made by Sosche.
I purchased a JVC KD AV7010? unit similar to that Kenwood. I got it last year for $800 with built in Dolby Digital and surround sound. Very nice when watching movies with a subwoofer and adequate mids and highs. I installed it in my F150 myself. I had to send it back to the factory one time for the screen motor going out. Keep your receipt.
Hey 80sRule that's cool! My 18 year old nephew got a new "Atari Flashback" for Christmas that plugs into the TV and has 40 classic Atari 2600 games loaded. It also has the classic Atari controllers. Of course he has never played an Atari before. When we play his Playstation he smokes me at every game. It was great smoking him at every game this time
