Did you fold part of it over and stick it to that, or did you just stick the tape to the thin edge or metal?

where are those pictures of the back side!!!!!

I used the 3M two sided tape that has the red vinyl covering on it. It's available at NAPA.

not too change the subject too much... but anyone put any lights in there? Like LED's, or Neon? I was thinking about doing that in red (my 95 is red) and adding a switch inside just for a little fun. I don't think it would be too cheesy... but I wonder if it would be illegal? Techinically it is inside your car, and facing back. Not on the front of the car.

Thoughts?

It did cross my mind, but I thought it might be a little too much...then again, I did change the lights in the hood to strobe lights.

I was just thinking of a faint red glow inside... nothing flashy. Just so when your cruising down the highway at night, it will be visible. Is that too much??

Love this mod, what a great idea. Would love to see pics of the backside and also how it looks on a red/dark red car.

I say give it a shot, as long as it's not permanently attached. You can always remove it.

If you do it, don't forget to post pictures...

Thanks!

If I had to guess, it is probably illegal to install any type of a red or blue light that can be seen from other cars. Most states have this in their statutes.

I just sent out two more sets of pics, if I sent any body two sets I apologize, old age is dimming my memory.
This thread has really stirred up a lot of interest and I'd like to remind you all that thanks goes to mguerra for starting it. I just happened to take the pics as I did mine.
