PKE question
i found another clicker i wanted to use and so i went searching though the forums on info on how to program one into the car. my question is: is the PKE light saposed to come on with the ignition in the on position because mine doesnt seem to ever come on and i cant get it to work according to the sequence of steps provided via this site which im positive are correct

I know that on my '93, the first thing to do when messing with the PKE is to make sure that the light comes on. You can't program anything until the light comes on. Do you have the factory service manuals for your year? They are very helpful. You'd want to run diagnostics to check if the PKE receiver isn't shot..
