On the same day (and time) I ordered from Mid Am, Eckler's and Corvette Central.
First came the Mid Am stuff, next day the CC stuff, next day the Ecklers stuff.
I have recieved the carpet mats from CC today,
But,
I ordered 4 wheel center caps, they shipped two of them and only charged me for two of them.
The reciept says nothing about back ordered parts either.
I haven't contacted them yet, because maybe they (the other two wheel center caps) will just show up.
Maybe they think two is more than enough for one side of the car.
Has anybody else ever had a confusing order from CC???

I had a problem with CC a few years ago. I think they should pay their shipping clerks a little more and get someone who knows how to read and add numbers.
Maybe they only had 2 left and 2 more will be on there way soon. I just received my first purchase from them and am very happy. My items were shipped on different days, but only incurred one fair shipping charge.
Ecklers shipped my items on different days and charged me full shipping on each.
A real nice lady from CC called me today and said that they were sending out my other two center caps when they get re-stocked.
I was working in a noisey enviroment when she had called and I couldn't hear too well.
She also said something about they automatically back order parts not in stock but, something like they don't really tell you its back ordered.(or something like that)
So, the stuff will show up sometime.
I'm happy with it.
I had the same problem. I needed to get moldings for my car while it was getting redone and they sent everything but one piece. Six months later it shows up and i don't need it anymore. Now I will have to pay to ship it back and restock.

I've found with all the catalog vendors you have to place orders over the phone. If you order online you'll never be told what's on backorder until after you're already pissed off and impatient.
I've ordered from CC several times and most of the time, many of the parts I order are back-ordered. Most places are doing this now, even auto dealers. It saves them money and annoys the customers.
I used to get parts from CC, but found that EVERY order was partial. Something was always "back ordered." I finally gave up on them and switched to Mid America and Ecklers.
I called CC to tell them to remove me from their mailing list, and they even sent me a coupon for 10% off the next order, but I didn't want to deal with them anymore.
Maybe CC is trying to improve their service, I dunno?
