Lambo Doors

Seriously, I'm not afraid of mods but here's my thoughts. Depending on the quality (manufacturer), you could have issues over time -- as the supports/hinges wear. Normal doors have this issue, these doors would have it to a worse degree (since the lifts/hinges do more work). I think even good quality door lifts would be a hassle to keep in working order. And, they'd be a nightmare to get fitted right!
The cost will be over $1000. Mojo points out that a vacation would be a better use of your money. Actually, the vacation is short-lived but other mods should be considered before the doors. To appreciate these doors, you have to be stopped and out of the car. If you're going to be spending a lot of time looking at your car, parked, and with the doors open, go for it!
Finally, I've been in this forum for several years and I haven't seen much feedback on these kits. As a result, I have to agree with CC's post -- there's probably not enough info in here to help make your decision. Even if you find one/two who've done it, you need to know who built it and who builds the kit you'd get. It's a crap shoot.
I dumped my crappertech chip a long time ago
And my 160* is a must in Florida heat.
Those are not visual modifications though... which this thread is about. Those mods change the way the car runs, not looks.
There is also physical evidence to back up claims or shoot them down for things like that. With visuals (lambo doors or whatever) that is all a matter of personal taste. You can't back that up with any evidence... unless the person dresses funny too
but, as someone said earlier the Koenigsegg dihedral synchro-helix actuation doors would be a very cool variation of this concept

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
You spend over $1000.00 on a mod that does nothing to improve performance and the only time it looks any different is when it's parked with the doors open
I don't park my car with the doors open and if I do go to a car show it isn't to show my C4 with the thirty C5's that are there nobody wants to look at either.
It's his first post for cryin' out loud, I'm sure they'll get better!!!
