Sorry to hear man!! This past winter my car got written off because a drunk driver smoked it as it was parked on the street. Thank god it wasnt the vette!! Hopefully everything works out for you!

As for parking in the street, it doesn't matter what or where you park, that could have been worse. What if someone was walking by and got pinned between the two vehicles?
Hit run people are just plain *******s and should all be shot on site.
Suing someone is not the answer, but you should be reimbursed for any and all costs associated with this.
