Default how does this look?

well I've been trying to kill time while saving the last couple hundred dollars I need to get myself a C4 and I'm now 1 week away from hitting the 8,000$ price bracket so I made this model up. I based it on some '84 blueprints I found. did I capture the C4 properly?

sorry about the lack of interior and rims, I need to improve my skills on that. Rims may go on soon, but interior is one hell of a hard thing to model.

Awesome, what CAD system did you use? Must have been very time consuming, nothing else to do??????

I used 3ds Max 7, next step is to throw it in a game for the week

However it wasn't as time consuming as I woulda liked, I spent probably 6 hours on it spent over 3 days. I keep finding things I wanna do to it to make it look more lifelike. Hoping I have the same attention to detail when I get the car itself haha.

this one took a while though, about a week

and this one I can't remember

I used to model for modifications for games doing guns and aircraft and the like then I got into car modelling, love it

one word of advice. if you have 8k don't spend more than 4k on a vehicle.keep the rest for repairs.unless of course you have money coming in every week.they get real expensive very quickly but they are so much fun.and learn to fix it yourself and save millions over your lifetime!!!Bon Chance.

yeah I know what you mean, I get income every week however till school starts again (and the car is stored anyways) and I do wish to learn to do all the repairs myself, thanks for the advice though!

and btw I put the rims on the model, nothing spectacular just the stock ones

Cool work, that looks really well done and accurate. Now model some other stuff around it to place it in zany situations!

Cool ... When you get it done, you can charge $50 for it like this guy

Put it towards buying your real vette....

thanks for all the comments! I think I will attempt the interior soon, since I need the practice it'll be a good way to use time then I might move to the engine and... haha I need to stop getting ahead of myself.

zany situations eh? hmmmm well I'll see what I can do, I might throw it in a game and get some screenshots too
