Corvette Black Book, Didn't know there was such a thing. I grabbed one on ebay last night. I pretty much know what I want and how much I'm going to pay for it. I looked on here and on your sponsor "Vettehound" Not much there that I liked.
I use Ebay and Autotrader.com almost exclusivley. 4 of my last 5 cars came to be mine that way.
As for the TPI........
Forgive the shameless plug but I have a business and a website for that business: Corvetteplenum.com I need to have a Vette, It just makes sense. I've had a lot of TPI cars but no Vettes, I did buy an '86 that was somebody's project and that was more trouble than it was worth. I go to the Corvette shows and someone asks "What Corvette do you have?" It's awkward. I want a VETTE !!!!!!! I need one and I deserve it too.
That's just cold. Funny, but cold. I looked for 4 months for a Bright Aqua Metallic. I get nothing but compliments and, so far, 2offers over $15K for my 95 six-speed (61K miles). And I'm not even selling it, those were offers from strangers.
Get the color you like, that's why they sold them in more than one color. I even like the Turquoise.
Goatdog, have you looked at Z-07 freak's photos of his car? You'll laugh even harder!
Yeah, I thought he was probably joking. Funny thing is I considered the Turquoise, just didn't want an L98 when I got serious about buying. I guess I like the eclectic stuff.

Interested in some C5 magnesium wheels? 17x8.5 front, 18x9.5 rear. They'd look great with polo I think, and you don't see too many of them. You could keep your uglys for race wheels.

Name your honest price and I'll beat it. One of the 17s is chipped badly, but is only cosmetic damage. They use a thick paint and should be touched up, the C5 guys know the paint code, I forget. The other 3 are in decent shape.
Definitely not show wheels, but then again, I've seen your car...

speak for yourself....
gee... I donno... I really want 9.5 all the way around... then I can rotate.
Well, Yeah. I don't actually make one as I modify the existing one. Take a look at the website: Corvetteplenum.com
I have been trying to get some dyno results from some of the guys here on CF. No luck yet. Last week I had a guy on the Camaro boards contact me. He put just my plenum on a tired L98 350 TPI and picked up 12 horsepower. He ran 4 consecutive pulls and while the torque gain wasn't constant the 12 HP showed every time. I gotta say, I didn't think the plenum alone was worth that much but I am impressed.
12 HP isn't dramatic but it's not to shabby either-Mike
I'm not sure when Black Rose was available other than '93. Sometimes it looks really dark like in the picture. Other times it appears much lighter and "purpley." At night it can pass for black. I think it's an awesome color for sure.
