That early Vette belonged to a forum member here. Lars something... They were custom made. By Folger or something like that, IIRC.

Those wheels *are* pretty sweet. Nice aggressive stance, too.
I've seen that early C4 around here a few times...if I recall correctly, it was featured on the cover of some euro car mag...I don't remember which one.

Very nice, I like that deep-dish look. It almost looks like a Porsche emblem on the centercap.

He had them custom made in Germany, could be some sort of German "Coat Of Arms".

They look allot like the Shelby Series 1 wheels I'm putting on my ZR1.
The tires are to arrive tomorrow so maybe I'll have some pics with them finally on the car...

The tires did not come in today. I'll have to wait until Monday, I'll be out of town until then...

90ZR1 with Shelby Series 1, 3 piece rims (18x10 front & 18x12 rear)
BFG 275/35/18 & 335/30/18 - You got to love the tread design!
The big rubber fits real nice...
Sorry about the night pics but I got home late from work. Will have better ones tomorrow...

Looks good. How much the rubber cost you and who did you purchase them from?

I agree they look nice but with those wide wheels you'll need to be very careful about curb rash. The tire sizes aren't going to offer any protection to the edge of the rim.
Course you're probably a much better driver than I am

The rims are actually 5 mm inboard of the stock rims. No matter what, all Corvette guy's are mindful of curb rash... My boy rubbed his stock wheels just the other day

Those wheels are Speedlines. So are the ones for the Shelby Series 1.
