There are quite a few forum members that have posed this same question. If you're patient, I'm sure something will be available, but I'm pretty sure unless you find someone that suddenly wants to change the look of their sidepipes that they currently have you may have to get creative and try fabbing up something on your own. If you go that route, best of luck.
I think you're best off trying to fab something. The Side-Effects kit looked fairly restrictive, and wasn't even a true side-exit (it wend to the rear axle, then out 90* to each side). I think if you were able to pull off something C3-esque, it would be really cool.
I was thinking about fabricating some real side pipes too.
I have been collecting body parts to put my car back to stock ...
But first, thought I might go way over the top with something like this
I would like to put pipes on my 91 coupe,,any suggestions?
Buy earmuffs
Fun for a while but can be annoying drone at cruise speeds.

Problem is getting the headers out of the engine bay;
No room to go over frame rail and underneath would be seriously low to the ground
