We all know how much we love our Corvettes, but what don't you like about them?
For me it's the constant scraping of the air-dam when I go anywhere where there's an incline (parking lot entrances etc). And the fact that I always want to drive it really fast but can't.
Also, what kind of ****ling little irritations have you got that you haven't gotten around to fixing yet, like squeeks and rattles.
My list is:
1) Weatherstrip needs replacing around drivers door (everything need doing really) - I get a lot of air noise above 50MPH from here.
2) Parking brake is inoperative
3) Small coolant leaks need investigating :mad
4) ABS Still not working
5) Ignition barrel sometimes does not contact with key - triggering the VATS
I think that's about it, all in all it's a great car, and I totally LOVE it. Just needs a little more TLC.
the only thing that bugs me is lack of headroom, i'm 6'6", and also the fact that the car is so damn low that i cant just get in it, i have to put it on.

Re: Corvette Cons? (November Soul)
Antenna stays up about an inch most of the time.
Tires make a lot of noise.
Wife has trouble getting in/out of it (she isn't 6'6" either) :)
Front air dam catches on those pesky parking lot stops.
I will tolerate all the above as the car is more enjoyment than any of the little annoyances.
everyone loves theres so much that they don't wanna sell it and that every used lot out there that has corvettes wants way too much for em. those are my cons about vettes but heck! i love em!
Yup the two seats only is the worst part. Not for my messy, sloppy, drink spilling friends though, but for the girls! Only one or possibly 3 girls could fit in it, I haven't tried that yet though. Someday......
The front air dam should retractable. I'm careful of it when parking and bouncing on bad roads but sometimes I have to pull out of convenience stores into heavy traffic fast and know its going to hit. Also the slip reduction noise makes passengers ask if something is wrong. All in all I wouldn't drive anything else. :smash:
The inability to take it anywhere you want without worrying about someone f***ing with it while it's parked out of your sight. But then again, it's only a car. YEAH, RIGHT!
1) squeaks and rattles; mine aren't too bad though
2) living in fear of the day the Optispark will commit hari-kari
3) can't pressure wash the engine
4) high cost of any part for these cars.
All of these things could be twice as bad and I would still love my vette.
