brinikprice, Have you replaced the battery in the FOB? Mine was doing the same thing and after installing a new battery, the programming sequence work as it is documented.

Yes, but i have also purchased another used fob as well. I am not sure except that I know that if you try to test the security system, (security light does flash), by closing doors and rolling down windows then try to reach in and unlock it, the alarm doesn't sound. I am not opposed to buying another battery giving it another shot, is the CR 2450 the correct battery? This site is amazing and full of help. I am awaiting shipment of an FSM but its 2 weeks away. This is my 1st vette and I guess I am super anxious to have it right. Thanks again for any help.
Before you get another battery let me check with one of my co-workers. He was a vette mechanic and worked for a corvette sales and service co here in the area. I will let you know what I find out tomorrow evening.
