84 headlight help please!!
I have an 84 and a few weeks back I began having problems with the left headlight. When I turned it off it would rotate to the off position, but the motor would continue to run. So I took the motor off and opened it up (I really had no idea what I was looking for) and checked the gears which all looked good. I took the headlight back out and before installing it I hooked it up to the power. It seemed to work perfectly opening and shutting like it should. So I reinstalled it. Once installed it did the same thing as before. Well, today I just received a new motor from Ecklers. I took it to the garage and hooked the power up and all the motor does is spin constantly. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance for any help.
