The wave!
i jus think its awesome that no matter where you go, what time of day, good weather or not...if youre driving your corvette and you pass another corvette...you get the wave of respect.....that is sooo cool...does anyone else think thats cool or am i just a loser haha.

I was was out for a nice cruise yesterday along one of our beaches, and within half and hour passed at least one vette from every generation. Got a return wave from each and every one.

Me too! I wave, and other vette owners give me thumbs up! Three times in one day, just cruising to skatepark, I drive behind or next to another vette, then the next thing you know it, he pulls on the side of me and says NICE VETTE!

For those of us that are old enough to remember the early, and I mean early VW's, the ones without a blower motor to move the heat unless you were moving. They originated a wave way back when, like 1960 if I can remember that far back. No fooling here, they really did wave to each other. Who or when the 'Vette wave started I don't know, anyone have any input into it.

I was pulling into the parking lot at Safeway and waved at a C-6. Dude didnt wave back but he did turn around and pulled in right next to me and asked, "Do you know me?" I said "No." He then asked, "Why did you wave at me?" 
I told him about the wave and he then said. "Well, that explains that!"

I don't wave anymore. I passed 12 Corvettes on my way home from getting it. 1 Waved, and 2 guys gave me dirty looks [im guessing because of my age?].
Since the trip, Ive passed many Vettes, and not one has waved at me.

I wave whenever I see another Vette.......I'm sure there have been times I've missed a wave though. Sometimes you just get caught up in the pleasure of the drive! I don't get bothered if a Vette did'nt wave back at me unless they are looking right at me wave at them and they just look at me like I'm an idiot......lol
