I always wave, I figure it's a sign of respect and kinship to other vette owners. I don't get mad anymore at the 5's or 6's who don't wave, peobably nobody ever explained the tradition to them. It's just a somewhat unique thing that we do.

Ive noticed that. I wave at all vettes but it seems the C4 owners are the only friendly ones that wave back every time!
Bought my 85 in April in Southern Maine. The night we picked it up I was on the Maine Turnpike and a C6 vert pulled up along side, slowed down and introduced me to the wave and then took off. Since then I wave whenever I can to any and all. Hope you're one of them sometime.
Absolutely keep the wave...we need more "love" in the world right now! True "vette lovers" wave...others are just drivers.
Jeep owners are the same way...they wave too, but only if driving Wranglers, as far as I know, or has been my experience Those other "comfy" jeeps are't the same.
i know....i mean jeez im only 20 and i drive my 85 vette, and i wave ALL THE TIME no matter what year vette you drive.....c6s must think they are better which is absolute b/s
