Code Reset
I pulled a 32 code. I had just replaced the smog pump and the water pump so you can understand how much work it took. I clean and re-loomed the wire to the EGR and retighten and the code went off, now I would like to erase. The book says to pull the fuse or use a short cut. Can I disconnect the positive cable and the computer reset or is there another solution.

Thanks, I thought that was the trick but it is my first vette since my 1957 and back then the only code was morse code when the mechanical fuel injection gave you problems and the car stalled.
I picked this 1990 Corvette Convertable for $2500.00 with 101,000 miles on it.
I bought it with a smog pump needing replacement and then I replaced the water pump because it had a bearing out from the bad smog pump. I still have to go through the brakes but other than that it is a kick in the butt car.

PS: what happens if I have 2 beers before I reconnect the battery.
