Help?
I noticed something odd on my C4..
When i got the car it was fine, but today i noticed that the drivers side rear was an inch lower than the passengers. and the ride got a bit bumpy..
I can stick 2 fingers between the fender and tire on the pass side, but cant even stick a finger in on the drivers side.
Anyone have any idea what caused this?
Maybe a bolt in the suspension vibrated loose, and something shifted?..
Any ideas?

The power seats sometimes can be problematic. I know the power side bolsters tend to go out. I don't know if the height is adjusted with a bladder.

On my old 84 the same thing happened. It turned out to be a u-joint failed.

Look underneath and make sure your spring bolt nuts are still there. Could have had the nut on the driver side back completely off.

Might as well check the spring itself while you are looking underneath.
