I owned C4 Vettes since May 31, 1997 and for the last 3-4 years I try to stay away from Ecklers. Midamerica and Corvette Central have cheaper prices and better customer service.

Flynn,

Yes we try to stay on top and I'm glad that my guys called you. . .

I have always enjoyed the input and trying to help people even if they do not purchase items from us. I use the forum as a way for me to pass on things that I have learned over the years of messing with these cars.

What takes this over the top is my crew! I have a great crew! Just Tommy and Norm alone have a combined 32 years experience with us. In most cases they can not only sell the part but they can also tell you how to install it. The tech stuff should come to me at the customer service email address, but for the rest they do know what they are talking about. . . (cross training works wonders).

While we are not impervious to mistakes, the guys that work for me do go to no end when needed!

Thanks you for the prop’s

Thanks Jimmy. . . .

We appreciate it!

Flynn,

Once again, Thank you. . . .

Also just a note: We made the c4 carpet prices final and will not change them. The sale prices are now permanent!

Do you have a link for them? I tried to search for them on ebay, but no listings came up. Thanks.

I ordered a chrome alternator from Ecklers and it went bad about a year later. They replaced it no problem, though I haven't ordered anything from them for a long while and I guess they have changed a lot. I don't think I will be ordering from them again. I do have an order I am getting ready to submit to Willcox. They seem to be very nice people and a lot of people here seem to like them.

I will never order anything from Ecklers, Corvette Central, Zip, Mid America, etc. They are just a cesspool that sucks in unsupecting corvette lovers. Most of it is Chinese junk. It's hilarious when you read their description of a product as the best thing since sliced bread. Then you read on our forum and everyone says it's junk.

Some things im sure are OK, there are always the execptions. But I feel better about myself when I keep my hard earned money here where it belongs

Needed to post this to warn as many people as I can. I finally got the harness for my power windows a month after I ordered it... however that's not the problem, I installed the harness in my car per the FSM following the letters they stamped on their harness. I put the switch in, try to open the windows... nogo, what do I see instead? SMOKE!?! After spending my entire winter rewiring the car after an electrical fire you can bet I was pissed the hell off. I had to tear apart the center console and the middle dash and rewire the ground that melted.

(just as a reference I knew the wiring was good before installing the harness because if I jumped the wires the way the FSM says I could make the window go up or down.)

the harness they sent me was stamped wrong, I rewired it against their stamping and the window works fine. I can't imagine that they sell this harness like that, very poor product.

I still have not received my money back for the carpet I returned (delivered to Ecklers on the 21st) and still have not received the strut I was supposed to get a month ago. (17th)

I sense (and hope) Ecklers going out of business before their next fiscal year.
