Default Project update

Posted on wrong thread earlier

Thank you to all who gave feedback and suggestions as I started this project in Feb. I had not planned on doing anything like this until I retired, but the opportunity/price were too good to pass up.

Well it took long enough to get pics together and posted. I know there are alot of Vette "purists" out there that believe bone stock is it, but I'm not one of them.

I think the C4's left alot of things undone. I never liked seeing the exhausts from the back or side or how the leading edge of the front end was so high.

This wrap seemed like the best way to get this accomplished without the "bolt on" lines that most kits show.

I wanted this build to have a seamless look when I was done.

Came with the Testarossa door skins which I discarded from the package immediately.

I will update as the project progresses. Thought I had better start loading pics before it became too overwhelming.

No, I got it stock, wanted to make some changes to get a lower profile and cover the exhaust exposure.

Ive now got to figure out how to reposition the pictures and put them in a chronological order.

I like the look of your car. What color you going to paint it?

It has taken me 3 months to decide. We just bought some Yamaha wave runners and I loved the color. I couldnt find an automotive paint that would match, so I had to order it from a paint manufacturer that deals with Motorcycles and Atv's. The color is officially called "2009 deep purplish blue metallic". Isnt that original.

Sounds like a good choice. Post some pics. Im not against moding a C4. Are you painting it yourself?
