I learned my lesson!
A few weeks ago I went to the local 1/8 mile track as I do nearly every Friday night. This time it was a little different. I had my mini ram installed, a new mail order tune from "Fast Chip", and a new set of BFG DR(315's) in place of the old BFG DR 250's. Well the lesson I learned was never do a dry burn out with these tire
. Always roll through the water box ....then heat them up. here was the results of that lesson
Both spider gears were broken.
luckily nothing else wasn't damaged.
383+BFG DR315's+ water box= no broken parts

I do dry burnouts but I am still running street tires. That's the only way I can get an ok launch. Consistant 1.9's last time out.

I'll be up and running again in 4 or 5 days. I've already got another set of coming in the mail. Found a set on ebay for $100.

That's bad enough but it could have been worse. It's good to hear that you will be up and running soon.
