any easy kill switch?
ok so im not trying to prevent theft, my mom keeps taking my car and driving it everywhere, seriously i drop $40 on a full tank of 93octane and i wake up my cars gone she comes home with it and its on reserve
shes done this at least 20 or 30 times this year alone
so i need a simple kill switch idea for a 93 lt1 auto that wont mess up the ecm/anything else and doesnt take hours to install

In other words, your still living at home and she's supporting you.
Perhaps she should charge you room and board, instead of borrowing your car.
Sorry, couldn't resist.
Easiest thing to do, would be to make sure she doesn't have a key to the car.

This seems really strange, it's usually the kid stealing the parents car and bringing it back empty.

Get something like this. It's cheap and easy to install. Unless she knows something about cars, she won't be able to start it.

I've heard that trying to start the car with the switch "on" can blow fuses, so get yourself some extra. If they do blow, they're easy to change out.

Simple would be to install a switch on the neutral safety A4 or clutch M6 safety switch circuit.

It's under the shifter console trim piece. You will have to remove the screws and turn it sideways and look for a switch that looks like a 90 degree arc in black fixed with two screws one at each end.
Read the C4 audio faq for how to remove the trim plate.

Don't do anything to the car so your Mom cannot drive it.
Think ahead & purchase just enough fuel for your use. Park it at home with the gas gauge on "E".

A quick smack upside the head should straighten things out. If that doesn't work throw in a few swear words and you should be set.

this thread is weak
You are lucky I'm not your dad, you'd be out a minute after midnight (18 birthday).
Your mommy borrows you Vette? Ohhhh, how about keeping your keys in your pocket junior?
funny, lately lots of CF noobs are posting senseless threads. This one appears to be a mama's boy, the other one bought the ugliest corvette

If the Vette is in his name and he is making the payments then screw that. I would not want my mother taking my car either.
If he called the cops, even if it was his mother. Its theft. He could get her in trouble.
