Reach in through licensce plate space.
Have Band Aids ready.
But that is not where the blinker is.

OK...I give up? One of the bulbs must be burnt out because they quit working on the rightside and the front bulb is not burnt out.

You want to change the rear turn signal bulb?
Or the Turn Signal Flasher?

Let's see to this point everything has been a pain in the **** to work on..as far as performance and style I guess that would depend on who you ask.

On the bright side; very few people with an early C4 have the tail light bulbs stolen.

You can reach the inside lamp from the license plate opening. You can reach up from underneath to reach the outside lamp. Neither is an easy task. Thankfully they don't blow out that often.

Hope this helps.

I say the job to R&R the taillight bulbs on a C4 is one of the worst designs that GM could have made.
Should have made the dumba$$ design engineer do every bulb R&R ever needed.
Then maybe they will think before going into production. LOL

If you hate the thought of changing the rear bulbs wait until you change the flasher. Good news is there is plenty of arm room on the flasher change

I'll admit these cars are not the easiest I've ever worked on, but I've never enjoyed the rewards more.

I love these cars!

OK. You guys made me do this....

Gynecologist turned Mechanic‏

A gynecologist had become fed up with malpractice insurance and HMO paperwork and was burned out.

Hoping to try another career where skillful hands would be beneficial, he decided to become a mechanic.

He went to the local technical college, signed up for evening classes, attended diligently, and learned all he could.

When the time for the practical exam approached, the gynecologist prepared carefully for weeks and completed the exam with tremendous skill.

When the results came back, he was surprised to find that he had obtained a score of 150%.

Fearing an error, he called the instructor, saying, "I don't want to appear ungrateful for such an outstanding result, but I wonder if there is an error in the grade."

The instructor said, "During the exam, you took the engine apart perfectly, which was worth 50% of the total mark."

"You put the engine back together again perfectly, which is also worth 50% of the mark."

After a pause, the instructor added, "I gave you an extra 50% because you did it all through the muffler, which I've never seen done in my entire career."
