Since the callaway areo is just way to expensive,I like the GTO body kit.www.ilovebodykits.com at least watch the video on there "duraflex" product, way strong and more flexable than the stock c4
If you are having a body shop do the installation maybe they can suggest a manufacture of kits they have worked with. A lot of the major companies have already been suggested. If you can make it to a local corvette show, perhaps you will find a corvette with a kit that you like. Good luck with your search and keep us posted.
Wow those corvette's are sweet.. I'm 60 years old and want mine to look as good as those.. I tried calling Greenwood today but no one answered.. Not sure why.. I don't want to break the bank on a kit and I'll be putting it on myself, My son and I did a Ford Probe a few years ago and it turned out great
I just bought a 1988 C4 coupe and would like to install a body kit on it.. Anyone have any ideas?

I highly recommend Moldcraft ( do a search for Moldcraft fiberglass). They were making the Greenwoods kits for many years until they had a falling out with Greenwood. They still make the kits w/o the greenwood name. Same kit and save bunch of dollars. Here's mine:
For some reason, Corvette Central and Ecklers and sell that kit for 1200+. They have it for 725.
If you have the money for the 7K Greenwood kit, may as well spend another $1200 and get the awesome Aerobody kit from Callaway. If money wasn't a problem, the Aerobody would already be on my 'Vette!

I didn't see you at the Lonestar rally this year. Were you there?

i have to be honest, i'm not a big fan of body kits. never really liked them on vettes, and realized how much of a money pit they can be when i had an eclipse. but i like the look of your car. that is really cool looking.

No, had planned to go with the 5 spd conversion done, then bought an 06 (spent the money I had set aside for the 88 ). Then was gonna take the trip in the 06, but heard there were going to be heavy rains, so decided to skip it this year.
Hopefully can make it next year, albiet still won't have the tranny done Oh well. Betcha it was great, as always? Tom

Well, you're definately right about them being a money pit, and not only cause of the external mods!!. Thankx, Tom
