Out here in Okinawa they are all over the place. Not as common as Japanese makes, but they are pretty easy to find. You can even find newer old style ones for sale. I saw a sweet looking one that was a mid 90's, black with red checkered stripes and roof. You see a lot with cool customised stuff like British flag painted roofs and trunk lids. Cool stuff, the Cooper versions are scrappy looking with their wide fenders and squat stance.

I have a feeling if I were 17 again, I might NEED neon lights under the car and a big aluminum wing. Don't like the sound of the big fart tubes though.

A friends dad had a Mini back in the early 70s... that sucker was punched to 1350cc's and had all sorts of carburation!!!
He figures it was putting out about 150hp... REAL hp, not some guess... in a car that weighed about 1200lbs soaking wet... with driver...
