This one was sanded down w/ 400 grit, primed and sprayed with Dupli-Color silver wheel paint, and then a few coats of clear. It has a subtle metalic look - very nice.

Of course powder coating is popular too. Here is one in red that I especially like. Note the two-tone paint and sanded top...Sharp!

Silver powder coating seems to be the fave, but the red really turned out nice, methinks.
And, I've posted this recently - a fellow Brother of the Beast has this polished LT5 (I copped as my avitar, btw) that is absolutely stunning - especially in the sunlight on a clear day (usually seen w/ a bunch a Hooter's girls posing with it
)
I've seen gloss black, Canary yellow, lime, and various two-tone combos. Letcher imagination run wild, I say!

Thanks for all the ideas. Think I'll try polish .... if that dosen't work out for me I'll probibly go with powder coat. I like the chrome or polished alum. for mine. It's a silver 85. Do appreciat the idea of the flower to remove excess polish in the holes. Great stuff here fellas. Thanks again
