The finish on my 85 Plenum is wrinkled and looking bad. Can these be painted .... polished ..... do I need think of high heat products?
Thanks for any ideas.
Chuck
You can paint them with high temp paint, powder coat or polish. A quick polish with Mothers will brighten it up. I would recommend taking it off to polish (etc). A trick that I will pass on if you want to polish is to use Mothers and after polishing you will notice a gray paste in all the small grooves and wrinkles. Take regular white flour from your kitchen, sprinkle in onto the area that was polished and then using a soft rag rub it gently. The flour will pickup all the polish in the recessed areas and it will come out really nice.

WOW, Chuck does good work doesn't he ! Looks nice Larry !
Sure does!! Thanks for the Kudo's.
All of these look sharp, I love going to cruise nights/car shows and peeking at what others have done under the hood. Some of the subtle and not-so-subtle touches are amazing.
