I have a question about the seat back cushion support on my 89 and hope members can shead some light on it. It's the plastic frame that the seat back cushion attaches to that I want to know about. I've seen some cars have it black and some have it the same color as the interior, which is actually correct? In my case, the seat cushions have been replaced, and are the wrong color, so I don't know if one of the previous owners just bought complete seats from another car or just put cushions in. I'm especially looking for input from original owners, who know "for a fact" they have not touched the car.
I am parting an all original 84 and the seat backs are black. My 85 is black also but I cant swear its original. What I would think is black is pretty much standard up til 92 or so when the interior changed and GM probly wanted to more color match the interior. Just my thinking, I have no real idea. Not alot of original C4 owners here me thinks.
