You could always just have a body shop paint your trim in body color (I'm assuming you mean belt line as well). It probably wouldn't cost any more than ordering new pieces, and the paint will stick and wear correctly. I don't know that rattle canning it, even with the correct color code, would hold up well over time. And if it faded differently than the rest of the car or chipped, it wouldn't look very good.
Interior trim or exterior trim? Exterior needs a trip to the body shop as Friz says. Interior trim can be painted with Duplicolor trim paint and Adhesion promoter. Just follow the directions on the cans and it will hold up well. I've used it on interior trim including the arm rests to change color and it has held up well for 3 years now showing no signs of wear:
I would guess that if you painted the trim, it would have to be taken off the car to do it right. Use a paint that is for plastic, or the paint might attack the trim material.
the OP's gone, and i mean gone from the forum - i think replys to his other thread pi$$ed him off royally. oh well -- it doesn't pay to have thin skin around here...
i guess he was an okay guy -- i just really had a "tuff" time following his threads.

My fault, I'm looking at buying a new set and I wish to paint it. But Need to know if it a good idea or could someone pass a link I over looked that sell them in any color.

Only ever seen new ones in the color of black plastic. As the others have mentioned paint them to match the color scheme your after.
Oh - those OEM reproduction moulding trim pieces are expensive to buy "new".
OK,now we know what pieces you were talking about. I have seen them painted body color they look ok but you need to use the right materials. I have also seen them chipped up and they look like azz. That means another trip to the body shop. Best just left black.

Will the body color of my vette is yellow with black trim ring. I really want is a black interior with yellow trim.
Wait...so you want to paint the interior trim pieces? Not the outside belt line.
yes. I got a all black interior with grey trim. Plus Black matts with yellow trim. There is like four items I wish to change the radio trim, horn buttens, seats, center dash.
There was a guy who repainted his yellow vette not too long ago and did the trim body color. I just searched for it but it appears he moved his pictures because they dont show up anymore. Good luck, I plan on painting mine body color in a couple weeks (hopefully).
Krylon Fusion will work on your interior trim pieces. It's specifically made for what you're wanting to do. Make sure you get all surfaces VERY clean....no left over Armor All, etc. Wipe with a good solvent first.
I misunderstood too....I thought you meant the belt line.
