Was thinking of putting in this cd player this summer!
Hopeing it will fit right in with no gaps looks about the same size as the bose!
Donno so im asking thanks a bunch!
Im runnning an older AVIC Z series and it fits fine but you dont have a true Double DIN slot you have a 1.5 DIN. The double DIN did not start until MY 90. Just FYI
In short it wont fit in your dash without significant modification

Going to let a custom audio place put it in.
they shouldn't have any probs i hope....
going to get 460watt 5 way pioneer 6x9s for the back..
not sure about door speakers are they 5 inch or 4 inch?
Well just called audiotronics there master installer drives an 89 vette...
He said he could do it but it would hack my bezel to peices like u guys stated above...
That really killed the ubber radio idea....
Looks like ima have to go flip out single dinn.
Bad thing about the Bose system is, if you change one component you gotta change everything practically. No less than $1000 to get tunes back into my car. Damn it. The friggen radio don't even work.. I take that back, I do get the christian station. Whoo hoo...
Is it worth having the original Bose CD player repaired or replaced? I have a 93 and the CD player doesn't work and when I saw a another 93 at the Corvette Expo in Sevierville, TN the first thing the owner asked me when I told him I had a 93 was, "Does the CD player work?" His didn't either.
