any idea how to keep a cat off your car? without killing? ive tried kepping a cover in the garage but that just encourages him to sleep on it...bought him a bed to try to con him into something better. bought him some ***** still no luck. im tired of washing my car just to see him streched out on the hood, im losing my mind with this one!!
huh? i didnt think it was funny. if you give me your email ill fedex that cat to ya. thats if i can get him off the roof of my car long enuff to figure out how to stuff him into my modem. when i got this car i knew this car is a pu$$y magnet...but little did i know....i think its the reverse mohawk that turns him on so much.
You will still hafta wash it but my Aunt would sprinkle red pepper on her car in the garage. Once the cat gets on the car and starts to clean itself .... well it encourages it not to come back.

Any good pet store will have a product you can spray on your cover that will keep kittah away. He likes your car because it is warm.

I can't vouch for its effectiveness but have heard cats don't like citrus. Maybe you can get some spray for the cover with orange or lemon scent in it.

It ain't for lack of effort. You can always do what I do to ol' Sweetsie.....dip his paws in the tar sands and stick him to the ceiling like a furry pinata.
i have the same problem and had no luck in trying to find a way to keep them off so i figured id do some testing myself and found that if you go all out and every night for a good week put that sticky paper for mice down all over the edges of your car cover. when the cat jumps on the car it lands on the sticky paper and freaks out and in the morning just pill it of the cat thats my favorit part! they quickly learn not to get on the car and after about a week they stop getting on it
