Default Engine bay idenification help

HEy everyone! I own a 87 corvette convertible. Ive had it for about a year now and i love this thing and can't still believe i got it. I'm in the process of tuning up things and changing filters and all that good stuff cuz idk if the previous owner took good care of it.

Problem is i'm not mechanically in tune, so i have trouble getting things done.
I have some pics so plz if anyone can identify it for me...
READ MY CAPTIONS, some are questions on things

This looks like a ground wire but don't know what its for. Horns don't work, could it be for them?

Found this tucked in the back. Its been unplugged since i got it and dont know from where... Dont know what this guy did to the wiring on this thing. Anyone know what it is for?

Havent seen the front fan on yet. The other fan works fine when engine gets hot. Does this turn on after or is it broke?

Whats the relay on the bottom left to? It tested good! Anyone have a relay diagram too?

Found some plugs not plugged into the EGR valve. This one is bolted closed and dont know where it plugs to. the other pics show where it leads, but dont know what that part is. ANYONE?
BTW engine slightly misses when idle

Pic 1- looks like the previous owner installed it, for some reason.
Pic 2- looks like the previous owner installed it, for some reason.
Pic 3- That fan won't come on until temps reach around 238*
Pic 4- If you have manual heat/air controls, I would say it's the blower relay. http://members.shaw.ca/dankai/HVAC%20Electrical.pdf
Pic 5- Is the supply vacuum for A.I.R. valves, shown in pics 6,7. It is normally teed into the vacuum line that feeds the fuel pressure reg.

The black and red wire that you are showing in pic #1 looks like the one that goes to the front fan. I was looking on mine today and thats where mine went. Hope that helps, keeps us up to date on whats going on

Thx! Yea im really confused by the wiring. That bundle of wires comes from the firewall.
Im just confused why someone would block this plug. For a performance reason?

and ill see if that wire got cut from the fan or something
