Nice result!! Looks 1000 times better than before.
Just needs lowering now
Also might just be the camera angle, but looks like you are running with positive camber at the front?
The insurance company wanted to total it for that little crunch? Unbelievable! Hate to say it, but a pine tree stepped in the road a few months ago and totaled my low mileage 1996 CE Vert. Cried for dayz! The adjusters told me it is worth a lot of $$$ even though it is a total. Hmmmmmm. Insurance companies don't pass the "smell test" when it comes to Corvettes.
Just depends. The correct way to fix it would be to replace the damaged part. Very rarely, will a body will repair a removable fiberglass panel. Just because it is time consuming, and risky. Where a replacement hood is quick, and guaranteed to be right.
If it was my vette and I was responsible for the repair, I would fix the hood for $40 worth of materials. But I know how to do fiberglass, and trust myself.
That's an easy one ! Got a west repair store on Jacksboro Hwy and they sell repair kit for $ 20.00 bucks and paint the whole car for a couple bills on a weekend !
That emblem if you go with chrome is a pricey 100 bucks .
I changed both mine to chrome.
If it were me,Id get the cost of a new hood, new bumper if ist torn or gouged, have the check made out to ME.Then Id cash the check and start looking for parts.

That's what I would have done to get the most $ from the insurance company. Price out a GM hood and bumper if it is damaged from the dealer. Then find the highest quote to paint the hood and bumper. And labor as well to remove and install the parts.
For example, you can find prices on an overall paint job on a Vette from $2k to $10k. So, getting a price to paint half the car from a pricy paint shop could be several $k's alone.

I had a Pontiac TransSport mini-van that got head-on'd TWICE in 3 months. I got two very nice checks - and fixed it myself - other than the frame shop to pull it straight. I got almost 300,000 miles out of that flying sneaker.
