Here's a few Pic's

Hopefuly tommarow i can show some after pics when I get the car from the body shop.

That sucks! Her car looks like it could be buffed out , you really got the bad end of that meeting. Hope she has insurance.

That sucks, but the damage looks minimal, maybe just a fender? Looks like the bumper might be repaired on the edge next to the front wheel.

Did the wreck also cause the bird poop and emblem missing?

It don't look too bad. Time to deal with the insurance company's and hopefully you will come out ahead.

Quick question, would you find a used clamshell or repair this one? Just curios which option would be the less expensive and would take less work.

There is no fender....the hood and fenders are all one piece, so that's at least a 400-600 repair just for a new hood, plus paint, etc.

Just depends. The correct way to fix it would be to replace the damaged part. Very rarely, will a body will repair a removable fiberglass panel. Just because it is time consuming, and risky. Where a replacement hood is quick, and guaranteed to be right.

If it was my vette and I was responsible for the repair, I would fix the hood for $40 worth of materials. But I know how to do fiberglass, and trust myself.

Ouch! That really sucks. Did she clip the wheel too? That's one of my pet peeves: women who can't put the Fing phone down and drive.

Guess it depends on experience level, as much glass as I've done, I still don't think I would be comfortable with my abilities enough to repair that much damage, I would just prep a used clamshell and call it good.

The women have to have those phones jammed in their ears all the time. Most have them at the gym to work out and talk at the same time.

Cell phones and particularly texting cell phones are causing more accidents than drunk drivers. When the insurance companies (that actually run our govornment) have had enough - I'm sure tough cell phone laws will get passed.
