Every section has Corvette enthusiasts. There is a C1/C2 general discussion section too!

I posted this Thread because I also hang out in this section. I own both C4's and C1's. Also, I suspect that there are C4 guys, like me, who also appreciate a 53 Corvette.

Not to be rude, but if this bothers you, then I would suggest not reading the thread.

Thanks Rob. I've done eight 53's and have three more waiting to do.

I hope to begin the rebuild of 1988 ZR1 EX5023 over the Winter.

It doesn't bother me, I just wondered why anyone would post about a 53 vette in a C4 section, it makes a lot more sense to post about a 53 in the C1/C2 general discussion section.

No problem here. I did post it there as well, the same day.

very nice work. 53 is the only year Corvette that I have not driven.
I think most of us appreciate every generation Vette and always respect good workmanship.

I cant even fathom how special that must be returning a piece corvette history to its glory. That is awesome what you do. Touching the first vettes produced.

When I was a kid back in the early 60's, my uncle had a 59 blue vette. The memories of hot rodding in that car are priceless. I was 7 years old at that time.

Keep the pics comming.

If you get a chance.. you should do a video clip.. there are a lot of younger guys on here that have never heard a hot 6 with twice pipes...hottest sound next to a screamin flatty.. those are sounds that are going away fast.. makes me want to build a track T..
