I have three spaces at Carlisle. M153-M155. I should be there. The spaces are paid for and I intend to go. Lots going on with restorations.
Sometimes I do sometimes I don't.I Just am not inspired to take on a big project right now.I might be interested in your challenge block by Carlisle though. Is that Morrison car a R9g?Was it bought new for racing or did they buy a street car and convert?Do you know who has the B Jenner 4 plus 3 trans and other parts for the that go with the the totaled 88 car?

The R9G cars were not ready when the season began, so Tommy prepped this regular Corvette for #99. I spoke with both Tommy and Heinricy at BG about this. The #97 and #98 cars were R9G cars. The second #99, put into service after this one was crashed, was actually an 86 model.
The Challenge short block is still for sale. Come and get it. I doubt that I take it to Carilse. Not sure where the ZF is for the Jenner short block.
I thought that challenge motor was for 88 car.Is it for 89?
I believe it has a Dec 88 casting date. I'll need to verify the code for dates. May be actually September. This is the only one I have ever seen for sale out of a raced Challenge car.

[QUOTE=Vette Daddy;1574480263]I posted this Thread because I also hang out in this section. I own both C4's and C1's. Also, I suspect that there are C4 guys, like me, who also appreciate a 53 Corvette.
Very nice, beautiful car, you do great work and that's a pretty fast turnaround time. I have a 54 Triumph TR2(rhd) that's been in Ohio for 5 years just having bodywork done. I told him to take his time and he sure has. Time to pick that car up if he still has it.

Vette Daddy,
Whats the rarest one you did so far? And please add pics if possible.
Probably car #035 re-paint. That would be the earliest 53 that I've had the pleasure of doing. I have some pics someplace. I'll post a picture when I find it.
Here it is at the booth.
