I am new to the site and also to Corvette's... But I HATE someone who tries to tell me something JUST because I am a woman. I am sure I will have some stupid questions at some point but geez!!
I went to a chain auto part store looking for a replacement cigarette lighter (a fix I easily performed) The guy obviously thought I was stupid and started telling me all kinds of crap about my car that I KNEW was not correct. I finally asked him if he could order a cap I was missing under the hood that said 710 for my 84 vette. He said... SURE! I will have the part in tomorrow. I asked him was it was for and he said Power Steering Fluid.
