Grounding Question
After looking through the thread search, I can't seem to come up with a definitive answer. Are the fog lights on a 96 grounded through the headlights or to the frame? Contemplating doing a bulb upgrade to 885's, but after doing a little research it would appear that if grounded through the headlights with 885's, the headlights may or may not dimly "glow" when off, and the fog lights on.

Have no manuals at the present time. When I sold my 91, and downgraded to a C5, I let all my technical data go with it. Now that I'm back in a good car, I'm starting back at square one.

I'm not 100% sure what years grounded the lights via the high beam filament, but cutting the fog light grounds an attaching them to the frame will give you a 100% chance that the fog lights are grounded to the frame.
