I've seen C3, C4, C5 and C6 flat black and the most sinister of all is the C5 then the C4, C3 and C6. The non-pop headlights dont help.

Funny, I just saw one today in San Jose. It looked OK, but that's about it. Sorry, but flat black cars look too much like they're primered and waiting for a real paint job.

I agree that the flat black sometimes looks like primer. I really like the C5 body in flat black. I have only saw pictures of one C4 flat black and it looked not so great. I would have to say you have to almost do a satin black to give it a good color without gloss.

Get the blue, looks like real paint. Flat look just doesnt fit the car.
Maybe a ratted out 30s something street rod or a beat up 60s truck but not a Corvette. Get some real paint on it.

Flat is mean looking for the track but not so much for the street.

Blue with GS style flat back stripes and hash marks.

Actually I wonder how that would look on a black car.

That looks pretty cool. Not something I would do personally, but it does look nice!
