Over COOLING problem

Take your pot of water, an electric heating element and a thermometer and prove to him that the thermostats open at the wrong temperature.

I had a comment but did not want to take the thread off in another direction before the problem got resolved.

I would have never thought you could get a C4 the that lower temperature when the stat is defective or opens early in this case. I guess the cold outside temperatures really did more affect than I thought it might of.

Here in Orlando it's mostly warm, 60s, or real hot in summer. Not many weeks of 30s type weather here thank goodness. We normally would not have the temperatures here to see that effect.
