Any pictures of them installed?

I got a three foot piece of aluminum from Ebay, 6061 T6 in .090 for $58 shipped. That is on there now but could use fences and button head fasteners yet. It is very light!

Sorry it took me so long to a pic guys. Had to do a bit of tweaking and painting, etc, etc. But here it is!!! After about 6+ months of work its finished. Its been on the car for about 3 weeks and no issues as of yet.

Overall, it weighs in at in a smudge over 10 pounds and is surprisingly very solid how I have it mounted. Not sure on any performance / gas mileage gains as of yet but I'm positive I'm gaining a little from the weight loss.

I plan on down the road (depending on the response from you guys and people around here) mounting it to the spare tire cover so I don't lose that feature. But anyways....

Let me know what you guys think!

Sorry it kind of hard to see in this pic and I apologize for the dirtiness of my car. I swear I washed it right after this pic was taken. haha

I like the simple idea! Did you account for the 2 points that costs?

The car will be reteched Oct 5th for Road America and I am hoping it isn't two points. As it sits isn't it just like having the stock spare tray there???

I hope you are right. What I get from the rule wording is anything other than the OEM piece costs points. Let me know what they say though!

I'll try to keep a straight face! Another one I'm going to try to work the angle on is points for non-stock injectors etc. I have stock fuel rail parts but can you even buy stock injectors anymore? Taking points for that doesn't seem right.

If they are the same flow rate you are good. I recall you are now running E85 so Im thinking you have to take points for injectors and fuel pump.

Kimmer, this diffuser could fill in your empty space. but me thinks your exhaust would be in the way.

Hey guys. Sorry it took me so long to get another pic... It's either been raining here or I've been busy. Bringing up an old thread here but here is the diffuser from the rear of the car. I think I've got the contrast and such set up where you can actually see it.

Looks amazing! Are you making some to sell or is it just a one off?

Yeah, OK -
Well, not being an aeronautical engineer, some of this was lost on me - but the basics hit home. Thanks for the education!
