If your willing to buy a 91 why not step up a year and get an LT-1 for the same money? You might as well keep your own car and fix it up as to buy that other and put money into it? You have it it's paid for and best yet you know exactly what it needs. I paid $6,000f or my 92 and 2yrs. later I have about $20,000 in it . All for upgrades I wanted to do not because it needed it i.e. 383 stroker, c5 brakes, c6 wheels ,etc, etc, etc! If your like most you will want to fix up whatever you get

Ive driven a few LT1 C4's and Ill be 100% honest with you when I say that I was very happy to get back behind my L98. The L98 just has all that bottom end grunt, the Lt1 seems flat till you wind it up. Plus Im not a fan of Optispark, ASR, OBD2, or any of that. L98 is just simple enough for me, and its all low end.

If the L98 is so simple, why don't you just put the engine and trans back in your old C4 and call it a day. Why did you let your C4 get into the shape its in now?

RED heres another one.

You gotta spend time really looking, there are SO many C4s out there for cheap that are halfway decent and not major projects. Of course many are crap you just gotta sift through carefully and be patient. If I had a few extra bux there are at least a 1/2 dozen in this weeks LA CL Id snap up for hardly anything. Thats why I stay off these sites lol. Or try

Look in CL Los Angeles area cannot believe the deals out here on these cars, they are all over the place. Noone out here wants these cars. They are cheaper than Fbodys now go figure!

in comparison to that vert you found you can see the difference...that one needed some interior work too.

More shots of the same car. Needs vy little and is way nicer than the 91 you posted.

Little more but appears well maintained

Some with a cheap price but are turds.
Engine fire, blown head gasket probably needs bearings/rebuio. Run from stuff like this

Offer 5k see what happens?
