The way I heard the original story, was it sat in a barn for 20 years.
Also the guys wife caught him cheating and sold his beloved car for $100.00
Then there was the brand new 1953 Corvette bricked up in a wall since new.
Then there was the brand new Corvette for $500.00 cuz a guy commited suicide in it and they can't get the smell out.
....You do have a point...and I started to mention that very story to him last night as well.
I am going there as soon as I get my sisiters car fixed. Might take a while since I am moving my fiance in this weekend...and selling another of my corvettes ( hopefully ).
Ask for the VIN and at least run a carfax on it to make sure nothing out of the oridinary is there. Do you have a digital camera. Would love to see pictures of when you check it out.
He said he wants to pull the motor, but he's going to get rid of it because the guys son has a girl he wants to give it too...
You can't "pull the motor" from a Callaway. There was extensive frame modification to fit the turbos....essentially the short block is the most insignificant part of the car.
