wow nice work so far. I like the color it brings the c5 mods on the c4 all together. I would look for a set of polished c6 five spoke wheels for her. I know a guy w/a set if your interested. G/L
All these guys have given you very true, sound advice which comes from experience. You have a money pit, a very deep money pit which will suck the very life out of you if you let it. Smart move is to run away as fast as you can. However if you are like some of us here this can, and will be a learning experience you will cherish your entire life. When you are done( actually that's never) you will have a car that reflects your personality and will be something you will brag about the rest of your life. Your call.
I received all of my interior. Lots of issues there. Drivers side door panel has a dent, it will be going back.
the sun visors look like they came from the dollar store. I would have not purchased these had I known. The carpet looks good. But the seat covers on foam are perforated. I asked for non-perforated. Any advise on the perforated seats. Are they better, worse. Will they last? I opted for the vinyl. Never cared that much for leather.
Perforated seats will last just fine. Came from the factory with them. I put a new set in my 84 back in the day....11 years later when I sold the car, they still looked great.
Thanks! And after reading a few other threads on the matter, looks like the mistake may be to my advantage. At least when comfort is your highest priority. Hopefully in a couple of weeks I will have this car put completely back together with some pictures.

Well, let me say that I am eating crow here as I thought this was going to be a freakin disaster. DAMN GOOD JOB
Here are some pics of an 84 I saw at a Chicago car show in 2005.
I think it looks pretty nice
Thank You for the positive comments. At the beginning I thought this would be a disaster. The car has turned out really nice, I am very pleased. Still working on the interior. I am hoping to update it as much as possible with all sorts of aftermarket goodies so that it feels like a modern car when you fall into the drivers seat. Aside from a high mileage C3 this is the only corvette I have ever ridden in and the only one I have ever driven. The FRS is an extremely fun car to drive, you will smile when you drive it. But I have to admit the old C4 puts just a bit bigger grin on my face even when it looked pretty bad. I hope some day I get to drive a modern Vette but for now this orange wanna be is getting the job done in spades.
