So I applied 12 V 1.25 Amps and neither moved. Switched polarityand still nothing. Both worked prior to removal. Then appled 12 V direct from battery with both polarities tested and still nothing. Am I missing a ground or some part of the circuit?
If I am interpreting this right, you are trying to get the old motor out and replace it with a new one. The motors run on 12 volts (don’t know what current they pull) and if your applying voltage to the old motor it may not move because it is defective. Did I get this right?
Try tapping on the motor with voltage applied to it to see if it breaks free. Or, remove or loosen motor if possible to free up regulator.
