The 1989-1991 had the sucky Multec fuel injectors in them. Haven't seen too many 89-91's with the original injectors in them. Congrats on your find! Post pics when you can.
Not so happy tonight. The motor seemed like it wanted to turb over when I bought it, just low voltage even with jump box. Tonight it seems like the motor is stuck. I can't turn it with a pry bar in the teeth of the flywheel. If that is the case 1) my wife is going to lose her mind 2) I am going to puke. I have neither the time, money nor inclination to put a motor in this car. It is beautiful but I just don't think I want to do it. Maybe tomorrow will seem like a better day but as of right now, i want to sell the Corvette.
Agreed... trying to turn a motor over by hand with plugs in, means your fighting the compression of the motor... thats difficult. If you have not removed the accesory belt, you are also trying to spin all of the accesories as well. Thats if your trying to spin it by hand....
Step back, take a breath, and start small. If your trying to crank it, and there was a battery drain issue, replace the battery, or charge it so when your cranking, you have ALL the power.

Don't freak. Calm down and step away from the car. It's highly doubtful that something catastrophic happened to the engine. It's going to be something related to the common problems many early C4's have and that's ignition, starting and fuel. You'll get it running again and you'll be stoked.
H.P. Bushrod is right about replacing the multec injectors. Spend the money now to get them replaced. FIC injectors sells excellent rebuilt injectors at a great price. Many of us have them in our early C4's. And while you've got the plenum off, replace the EGR valve and fuel pressure regulator. They don't cost a lot and this will save you from inevitably doing it later, because you will.
Finally, get used to throwing money at your C4 Corvette at irregular intervals. This is part of the deal of owning a C4, especially an early C4. Sometimes you'll go months, years even without worry, and then you'll be dealing with many problems all at once. Get a Factory Service Manual, pronto, if you're wrenching on it yourself. If not, find a really good and trustworthy mechanic.
Explain to the wife, that this is a high performance sports car and they can be finicky. If you wanted dead reliable and deadly boring, you would've purchased a 'beige mobile', one of those four door Japanese cars that is about as exciting as powdered milk. Keep us posted and we want pics!

I'm not to sure what an "injector issue" is, it could be a lot of things. More likely you have a head gasket issue. Pull all the plugs and see if it will turn over then. Odds are you'll be pumping antifreeze out of #6 or #8 cylinder (or any of them). Make sure it's antifreeze and not rusty water. If he's been having problems and just adding water, you could have other troubles if it gets below freezing.
