Thanks Guys, I don't want an Ikea CF interior! I had to get a new headlight switch cuz I was missing the ****, of course. The 1st "New" one I received had scratches and a broken tab on the back where the harness clicks in. They sent another, and this time it's nearly perfect and definitely a new piece. I also got a new headlight motor for the right headlight, wouldn't pop up. Got a muffler shop to bring my pipes/mufflers in to mate up to the C5 bumper. The interior is coming out, as is the dash and speedo cluster to get rebuilt, it would shoot out non-sense now and then. Just plugging away at all the little things. The stereo will not work, gonna put a dbl din Alpine GPS/DVD system with new speakers and amps. The insurance paid for the new power antenna from the accident.
The earlier clusters (84-89) were very ground sensitive. One of the symptoms was they would get very dim and hard to read, but the turn signal and high beam indicators would glow very brightly all the time....cluster was using those lights as a primary ground. Sometimes just cleaning the terminals solved the issue.

Yeah, the whole cluster is very dim at night. I fiddled with one of the stalks and it got bright, then went dim again. I gotta take it apart and see what's going on in there.
