When I put the brake booster on my 87 vert I may have bumped something because at first my brake lights stayed on all the time. I was able to fix that with a switch adjustment. But now my cruise control and my door lights dont come on when the door opens. They work with the light switch just fine but not when you open the door. Any help out there?

Jim,

The cruise control is tied into the brake switch so I would look there. If you do not have a field service manual this may help you a little, but it really does not get into the electrical aspects:

I often find that when you fix something, another thing breaks - just part of Murphy's law. Do the lights work if you open either door? Could be shorted something under the dash accidentally and a fuse is blown? Start with the simple and work out using the FSM as your guide.

Check the cruise vacuum release valve at brake pedal, sounds like it needs adjustment, also.
