I read his post and I did not think thats what he meant. To say one C4 is better than another C4, I myself would say every year the corvette gets better and better all the way to the present year but that is just my opinon. If someone loves a 85 and thinks its the best then good for him. We all love all corvettes. Don't we ?
That's exactly what I was saying. We all love Corvettes, but why pick and 85 as a dream car, other than the 84, it was the most anemic of the C4s. Hey, if that's your dream car, fine. Then to compare it to some of the greatest cars built in 1985 was a little strange to me. Really, 1985 230 HP L98 Corvette compared to a Lambo Countach?
I think the point Jon is trying to make is the 85 is no better that any other C4 corvette. He could have bought any pre 90 C4 and pretty much have the same performance. In other words why the "85". I could understand someone dreaming of a C4 but an 85 in particular ?
I stated why the 85 is a great car to own with proven facts. I never said it was better than any other year of C4. How do you get that? They all got better as they progressed. Common sense. Some here get kicks out of bashing early C4's bcause they have a later year C4. Big deal. It just shows their level of maturity.

Really, where do you get any early C4 bashing? I never said it was a bad car, I only questioned your comparisons and incorrect facts. I love all C4s, don't see any bashing going on here.
Me thinks you're taking this a little too personal.
