Jim:
I have used the folks at Factory Car Stereo on several occasions and they have always done a fine job for me.
I would suggest that you make sure that you need all four amps rebuilt before you sign up for a complete rebuilt. My amps are working fine after 26 years. My problems were in the main unit and cassette player.
does anybody have pictures of the radio amp under the dash. and how it comes out, maybe I will send it off to get repaired instead of taking the car.
Also the air bag sensor that I need to clean where is that located?
I guess I need to order a factory service manual, Any idea where to get one, does it have to come the stealer?

Its under the right side of the dash behind the fuse panel, remove the right hush panel & seat & access from the bottom. Its a PITA to remove/install.
Suggest checking the air bag trouble codes to see if the frame sensor(s) are the problem. Left sensor is on top of the frame rail behind the battery. RS top of frame behind the WW jug. I'll check the FSM @ my shop tomorrow & let you know what pins in the ALDL to jump to read the SIR or maybe someone will chime in & help out.
FSM come up in the classified section here & the online auction site. You want the red cover book. There is also an 8A electrical supplement. Suggest waiting for the FSM before the "FUN" begins.
Nice Vette, Jim. WELL DONE ! Your new C4 looks great, but you might consider ditching the after market spoiler.
P.
Thanks, The spoiler was put on at the dealer in 1990 and its a greenwood. you cant see the name on the picture. That begs to ask the question, Is greenwood after market?

Yeah, its after market and, in the view of many Corvette enthusiasts, most after market body kits reduce the value and marketability of the car.
Your car is in, what appears to be, excellent original condition (sans after market spoiler) that you should consider returning it to 100% original stock condition and collect an NCRS Top Flight award and/or Bloomington Gold. Food for thought....

The INFL rest light will flash code 12 three times followed by the trouble codes (three times each) in numerical order followed by code 12 three times.
